Montana Arctic Grayling found in the upper Big Hole River are a fish of special concern for both state and federal agencies. Since a majority of the fluvial arctic grayling habitat is located next to non-federal lands, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is trying to enter into a 20 year umbrella agreement with the US Fish and Wildlife Service to help protect this species. The environmental assessment is open to public comments until 5 pm on January 23, 2006. You may submit comments to Grayling CCAA.
