From the Missoulian: "Gov. Brian Schweitzer's budget director didn't stay long at the Montana Board of Regents meeting, but David Ewer had the board's full attention during the hour he spoke, and his pointed comments lingered long after he left.
"Ewer delivered two distinct messages to the regents, both in a no-nonsense manner, on Thursday: Campuses must decrease energy consumption, and regents must better monitor the nonprofit agencies that manage millions of dollars in federal funding the state receives for student loans."
Information on the Board of Regents March 6, 2008, meeting is available on the Montana University System website.
The Governor's website includes information on the 20 x 10 energy efficiency initiative.
