From the Missoulian: "A federal judge ruled Thursday that American Indian plaintiffs are entitled to $455 million in a long-running trust case, a fraction of the $47 billion they wanted."
The decision in Civil Action No. 1996-1285, Cobell n. Kempthorne, has been posted on the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia website.
The Department of the Interior has issued a response to the decision, and the Indian Trust website has the lead plaintiff's response.
