From the Helena Independent Record: "Heavy spring rain and near normal temperatures have loosened drought's eight-year grip on all but a tiny section of southwestern Montana, the Governor's Drought Advisory Committee learned Thursday."
Montana drought information can be found on the Natural Resource Information System (NRIS) Drought Information website. The site includes links to county drought status, water data, soil moisture data, and much more.
