From the Washington Post: "The Federal Communications Commission yesterday began mapping out a plan to bring high-speed Internet service to the entire nation, starting with questions on how to increase its availability, improve its quality of service and make it more affordable."
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website has a press release about developing a national broadband plan, and the notice of inquiry has more details. The public may submit input via the Electronic Comment Filing System (referencing GN Docket No. 09-51) or via Regulations.gov (the docket within the Regulations.gov site is forthcoming).
