From the Missoulian: "A number of Missoula dealerships will delay making deals through the federal government's 'Cash for Clunkers' program until the future - and finances - of the system are clear."
Information about the CAR Allowance Rebate System (CARS), also known as Cash for Clunkers, can be found on a special website: Cars.gov.
The House voted to continue the program on Friday, July 31, with roll call vote 682. This bill, H.R. 3435, now heads to the Senate. The President made statements supporting the continuation of the program on Friday.
