National Ambient Air Quality Standards

From the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) press release: "Today the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced the strongest national air quality standards in the country's history. These National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) address fine and coarse particle pollution, also known as particulate matter (PM)."

The 2006 Particulate Matter (PM) Standards Revision has been posted on the EPA website. Background information about particulate matter and information on the regulatory process for this rule are also available on the EPA site.
