The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals issued the opinion in Nehmer, et al. v. U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Background information on Agent Orange is available from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and from the National Library of Medicine. The National Academies Press has published books by the Institute of Medicine that can be read for free online: Veterans and Agent Orange: Health Effects of Herbicides Used in Vietnam and Veterans and Agent Orange: Update 2004.
