From the Missoulian: "Montana's drought has been largely washed away by one of the wettest Junes in more than a century, new reports released Thursday conclude.
"A year ago, 23 of the 56 counties were plagued by severe drought. As recently as May, 13 counties found themselves in the plight. Today, 42 counties are considered drought-free, and severe conditions persist in just two counties - Sanders and Ravalli."
You can view the reports presented at the July 14th meeting of the Montana Governor's Drought Advisory Committee on the committee's website.
